Easy - Dalchonzie railway footpath

If you want a walk directly from your front door, we’d definitely recommend the railway path behind the cabins. Walk up towards St Fillans and take in the spectacular views of Loch Earn, or head the opposite direction and walk to the Dalchonzie car park in 40 minutes. Revive your inner child and picture yourself at the front of the train steaming it’s way through this secluded forest path. Or take a detour and veer off the path, following the bends of the River Earn.

Meduim - Lednock Circular walk

One of our favourite walks from Comrie is the Lednock Circular walk which will take you along the River Lednock. There are many places to take a break and look over the beautiful landscapes. One of our favourite places is the viewpoint over Comrie at the top of a large set of wooden steps. Not only are the views of the village stunning, but the setting is something quite special with many different species of heather surrounding you on the hardy rock.

Hard - Munro Bagging

For those seeking a little more adventure, we have 3 decent munros within 50 minutes of our Finish log cabins. One of our favourites is Ben Lawers which offers the most spectacular views over Loch Tay. One of the things which makes this munro so appealing is that you can actually bag 2 munros in 1 day. You can choose to ascend Ben Ghlas before tackling Ben Lawers, and the descent and reascent up Lawers isn’t any more challenging than the original climb up Ghlas. The hike is known for it’s diverse range of wild flora, including many different species of wild heather and orange hogweed in the spring and summer.
