The bathroom has a walk in power shower, fan heater, heated towel rail, extractor fan and an electric shaver socket.
The spacious living area has comfortable leather settees (lounge suites) and a flatscreen TV with a choice of Freeview digital channels to choose from. A DVD player is also provided. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available on site as well as a selection of videos and books.
OUTSIDE OUR LOG CABINS
The patio doors open from the sitting room onto a deck area overlooking the River Earn. Each cabin has been carefully situated with river views without being directly overlooked by other cabins.
Garden seats and picnic benches are provided for all our self catering cabins so that a relaxed glass of wine, outdoor meal or barbeque can be enjoyed with only the ducks for company. There are boat launching facilities on Loch Earn – just a short distance away. There is ample parking for at least 2 cars per self-catering log cabin.
Across the river from the self-catering log cabins the view through the trees is of sheep grazing in pasture fields stretching to the hills beyond. An excellent forest walk is adjacent to the cabins with and abundance of deer, Pheasant, birds of prey including Red Kites. A longer walk on an old right of way, “The Mamm Road” will take you to the Melville monument above the village of Comrie. The village then can be reached by walking down the unclassified very quiet road.
For self-catering in Scotland these log cabins are ideal, set in beautiful Perthshire and providing an excellent base for seeing so much of Scotland.
